BRIDGES2000 IS IN THE MARKET FOR FENDERS – ALMOST EVERYWHERE THE CUSTOMER WANTS
They are usually brought and hung in sets of 2, 3 or 4 pieces. Just as is good for the ship, ships or pontoons. In all cases it is about not damaging. That must be avoided. How do we do that?
Just as gangways ensure a safe entrance, fenders ensure that a ship or pontoon can be properly moored. In many harbors, oarsmen are often very wary of higher and lower water, then lay with so-called “slack” in the ropes or wires, so that they do not get stuck or hang the ship. With fenders in between, there is much more room for movement for the ship or pontoon, but it really lies against the quay and in that way moves less parallel to the quay. Better for the security of the gangways, and for the ropes and wires and the ship. And of course for the passengers and visitors of the ship.
We always attribute the use of fenders to that. Call us. We are happy to help you.
